It might drive you crazy girl but in all honesty you are crazy hawt.  Everyone know that this women right here is sexy and she doesn’t know it.

Its blowing my mind to hear beautiful girls not know that they are because of “societal norms”.  It might be what is normal in magazines and television but not in the hearts and minds of the people.  Not in mine, not in  my boyfriends, not in my friends, and certainly not in the minds of people who look at you.  There is no way on this Earth people can not think “wow what a great lookin dame that is right over there!”.

• Reason for Being Hated: Impulsive, gets in the way, considered to be a Mary-Sue, disrespectful, lacks good judgement.

Teacup, Miko grew up in a very repressed environment.  Her family, from what she’s described, is upper middle class individuals that probably placed her in a well to do school.  Some schools in Japan don’t allow students to wear anything but their school uniform during the week. They can dictate how long your hair can be, where your allowed to eat, how long you can stay out.  And almost all children in Japans educational system, especially teens, can be expected to have little to no personal life outside of school.  Its go to school, go to cram school, study at home, bed rinse and repeat.  And if Miko has an education mama, which I am sure she does, her behavior in the show is completely understandable.

I love Japans educational system, and the culture is great.  But it does repress children quite a bit.  Is it so odd to see this girl acting out? For the first time she can dye her hair, wear what she wants every day.  She’s free to express her individuality, state her opinions, and be as direct as possible without fear of derision. Something that her current educational system has diminished and is a real problem that they are trying to correct even still. Plus she grew up in the big city, probably in an apartment, so she finally gets to blast/play the kind of music she wants.  

Miko is a character who is finally tasting some real freedom outside of a very structured environment. That is why she dresses and is styled so oddly its just a kid, doing what they’ve always wanted to do, for the first time.

I am posting it today in the hopes that the vengeful spirit of Caravaggio will help me ace this exam this morning in spite of my professor’s horrible biases against anything that has nothing to do with her speciality. >:C

I also have an English exam today which my art history test has been distracting me from.
